Halloween!

Halloween was rather uneventful. We hit a fabulous pumpkin patch in Half Moon Bay - Arata Pumpkin Farm. There were animals, bouncy castles, a little train, hay rides, a gladiator ring and a huge hay maze. It was a gorgeous, hot day, but unfortunately the experience was tainted when Henry was bit by a nasty horsefly 10 minutes after our arrival. He screamed for ages and we couldn't figure out what had happened! His poor little finger and hand was swollen and red immediately. Needless to say, his mood wasn't stellar after that. Nevertheless, we enjoyed ourselves and picked out some great pumpkins.

Trick or Treating was a blast, Henry had so much fun! He was a robot and I am proud to say I made his costume. (It was no-sew, making things easier on me! I did however, use a jigsaw and a power drill, which was no problem.) And yes, those are working led lights on the front.

Henry was a pro at going door to door, and even knew the secret signals of the porch light. He said "trick or treat", "thank you" and "Happy Halloween!!" He talked and danced like a robot. Fab.
