SUPER gift...

While in Utah, Sam looked through a bunch of old family photos, and found this legendary Harrison gem:

The littlest one is Sam, with his two older brothers David and Jonathan. He took the photo with him over to his Grandma's house for a visit, and they rejoiced and reminisced about the good old days and the fabulous super-hero costumes. Sam asked her if she still had the patterns for these costumes, and she brushed him off, saying she wasn't sure she even made those costumes.

Now, you need to know something about Grandma Shirley. She is an incredible seamstress. She can alter, mend or create anything flawlessly in no time at all.

The very next morning day, she stopped by with a baby gift, and I nearly died when I opened it. Sam did too, as you can see!! It's sentimental value, creative and unique nature and personal meaning made it by far the most SUPER gift we have received! Just look at that happy face!!! (In case you can't tell from the photos, it is a DOUBLE sided cape, Superman and Batman. It doesn't get any cooler.) We now have a joke that our little one will be wearing a diaper, these little beach shoes that Sam's sisters gave us, this cape and nothing else for the first few years of his life!
